Absolutely breathtaking vintage Issey Miyake, from Spring/Summer 1984, shown documented here on the runway. This piece is also part of the Met Museum's collection. As special as it is rare, this cocoon sweater jacket features an intricate chain-like weave amongst sections of strings in grey and white variegation. Remarkable design details. Incredible drape, especially at the backside. Batwing style sleeve. Completely open in the front, this is a great throw on piece that will look as chic with jeans and a tee as it does with a dress.
